Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn’t it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses. You build up a whole armor, for years, so nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life… You give them a piece of you. They didn’t ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn’t your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like ‘maybe we should be just friends’ or ‘how very perceptive’ turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It’s a soul-hurt, a body-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. Nothing should be able to do that. Especially not love. I hate love.

i love the above quote. I just want to share the above quote. that’s it. anyway, some of my frens at LJ did one tag. we at LJ called it meme. a meme of what’s your impression on your LJ fren. and they included my name there. it’s a bit funny how they think of me. this is what they think of me. LOL

and last weekend. i just sleep at home. sleep & sleep & more sleep. best!! only on saturday nite, i went out with my frens for our buka puasa. actually, it was after buka puasa. coz we only go to that kedai after terawih. we ate mee udang. i think, that was the best mee udang so far! we don’t have to go to Sg Dua for the mee udang. i can get it at Teluk Kumbar!! yayy!! dah dekat dengan umah. bleh pi selalu.

and, i’ve read The Kite Runner. at last! it was a good book. it’s hard not to weep when you read that book. coz, i did weep. there’s some part that will make u cry. u have to read it. I’m pretty sure you’ll love it. the movie was good too. i love both of it. Khaled Hosseini’s book will always be my choice after this.
